Callback Information
Starlight Theatre's 2009 Season

You have been selected to be called back for one of the following role(s). Please prepare the materials (scenes & songs) that pertain to the role you were selected. You will be asked to come back on your selected day and listen to the song once with the piano before being asked to sing a portion of the song. It is important that you become familiar with these songs, as it will aid your chances for being cast in the role.

Please note that you will be asked to sing a small selection of the song(s) first and then if asked, you may be asked to sing/perform the full song and read the scenes associated. Memorizing the songs will be preferred but we understand if you need to use the song or script to be held in your hand for the callback process.

You may also be asked to continue to the dance call, either for Principals or Ensemble. So you should be available both days. Importantly, bring all necessary clothing and materials with you and arrive in advance of your audition.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ryan Fahey, Audition Coordinator, at rfahey@starlighttheatre.org.

See You Soon.

See you soon!

SCENES & SONGS

Please print and be prepared to read only those scenes that have your name entitled on the top. If you see certain scenes that have your character speaking in them, we will only need you to learn them if your name is "BOLDLY" written on the top of the sheet. (For example, the scene with Kelsi and Troy should only be learned by Kelsis auditioning, not Troys.)
The same holds true for the SONGS. You have been given a "Call Back Information Sheet". Please prepare the songs listed specifically for your character for the callback. Several characters do not sing a full solo song in the show, so for many we have asked you to prepare songs that will showcase your voice and range from other characters (i.e: Chad will sing Troy's songs). Please review the material and be prepared to sing this at your callback. Memorization would be preferred but we understand if you need to hold your sheet music. Please refer to this sheet as a guide for which songs to prepare.
